If you are planning a garden or landscaping project, Buy The Yard invites you to check out our quality products including soils, sands, gravels, bark mulch, and fish compost. We don’t use the word ‘quality’ lightly. We’re picky on your behalf. For example, we use only composted landscape refuse and fibre in our soils  – they don’t contain large aggregate or clay which reduce the quality and consistency of the product. We know that you’re looking for a nutritious growing environment for your plants and shrubs. And if your landscaping includes a special rock feature or wall, we carry a variety of rocks to enable you to fulfill your vision. By-the-way, all our aggregates are washed.

We also carry some of the best Christmas trees on Vancouver Island to make your holiday season a little brighter (and nicer smelling). At Buy The Yard we make collecting your product a breeze. Once you’ve made your selection, we have a number of options for loading your vehicle that take the grunt work away from you and put it onto our machines. And if you only require small amounts of our product, you are welcome to bring along 5 gallon pails and fill them to the brim for $3 to $4 depending on the material.

Need delivery? No problem. When it comes to delivery our motto is ‘No Haul Too Small’. To top it off, we have set delivery prices – you know up front what it’s going to cost and that doesn’t change, even if delivery takes us longer than we think it will.
